Hair Tools for Men

Hair Tools for MenMen have many unique hair care needs and special tools designed to make each job easier. Whether you are a guy who believes in barely grooming or you are a man who manicures more regularly than the ladies, a quick review of the tools made to help you can help make your bad hair days a little bit more manageable.

Mustache Trimmer

The mustache trimmer is a hair care device meant to trim the hair of the mustache and beard. It is especially useful in maintaining a mustache that is short enough to expose the lip. Most models are electric and come with several attachments to control length. This nifty little tool can be used for more than trimming mustaches and beards. A mustache trimmer is the prefect size to trim sideburns and hair under the arm.

Flat Iron

Men utilizing heat to style their hair is popular these days, and a flat iron is what celebrity hairstylists use to perfect the look of many cuts on actors and models. A 1” ceramic model flat iron is the tool marketed to men these days, and it is easy to use and can change poofy uncontrollable hair into a slick style in a few minutes. Blow dry or towel and air dry your hair before using a flat iron for best results and the least amount of damage to your hair.

Tweezers

Tweezers are useful for plucking the hairs in the middle of the brow line threatening to develop into a uni-brow, and getting rid of stray hairs on the face and neck that don’t get exposed to the razor. Pointed tweezers can be especially helpful in removing ingrown hairs.

Stocking Cap

Although not your normal hair care tool, a stocking cap made of breathable cotton can style your hair out of the shower without having to utilize heat or hair product. Simply throw it on top of your mop and let it air dry for a matted down bed-head styling tool.

Electric Razor

Electric razors are tools that give men the ability to get a comfortable shave without worrying about the nicks and cuts of a regular blade. An electric razor pulls the skin and cuts the hair below the skin, protecting the skin from the blade with a porous foil-like cover. Many electric razors come with self cleaning mechanisms to help keep the blade and foil clean and sharp for a close shave.

Blow Dryer

Blow Dryers are a popular way for men with curly hair to be able to easily obtain a straight style. Blow dryers often come with attachments, and a vent brush attached to the blow dryer helps straighten the hair. Blow drying is also beneficial in helping thinning hair appear to have more body.
