Make the Space Where you Beautify yourself Reflect You
Many women spend hours in the bathroom or at a vanity table and never think to fill the space with fresh flowers, candles or paintings and pictures to enjoy. Getting ready in a beautiful space will help you feel beautiful.
Massage your Face Daily
There are over 40 muscles in the face, and each works hard to express each nuance of our emotional and physical lives. Thank your face each day for its hard work by giving it a gentle massage. Use your morning or nightly cleansing routine as a time to massage your face if you can’t set aside another time. Simply take extra time to massage your face in circular motions with your facial cleanser. Make sure to slow down and focus on stressed areas of the face like the jaw line and joints.
See your Unique Facial Characteristics as Beautiful
Instead of looking at your face in the mirror and seeing nothing but what fashion magazines and beauty products tell you are flaws, simply see the beauty in the life that you have led and appreciate your unique facial lines. Think about all the happy memories that have caused the smile and laugh lines on your face, and appreciate all of the unique experiences in your life and on your face.
Integrate Sounds and Smells into your Beautification Routine
To be able to find your true beauty and allow it to shine through, you may need to help your mind and body relax. One way to add relaxation and tranquility to your everyday beauty routine is to add sounds and smells. Add a small fountain to your bathroom or play a CD with nature sounds or smooth jazz to calm you and allow your natural relaxed beauty to come through.
Breathe Deeply Every Day
Take time to look in the mirror, close your eyes and breathe. Let yourself let the day go after work, or clear your mind in the morning before the day begins. Breathe in for 20 counts and out for 20 counts slowly. Open your eyes and look at the difference in your expression after taking time out to breathe. Repeat this exercise to help cleanse and rejuvenate your expression and your spirit throughout the day.
