To get Ellen’s flawless complexion, start off by applying a light-weight, oil-free moisturizer to your face as well as the neck. Next, take your foundation (preferably one that is oil-free as well) and apply to the center of your face with your fingertips. Blend gently outwards, making sure to take a break from time to time to check your progress in a mirror. To create a sheer finish, go over your foundation a second time using a damp makeup sponge.

Get your eyebrows ready by using an eyebrow brush to get the hairs uniform in one direction and then following up with a slanted, firm shadow brush dabbed in brow shadow. Be sure to fill in any sparse areas. Step back to make sure both eyebrows match in size and shape. If you have unruly brows and hate dealing with strays, use a small amount of brow pomade or firm holding spray and apply it to the eyebrows and allow a few second to set.

Ellen loves the glowing and shimmery look so for your eyes, be sure to use a gold shimmering eye shadow below the brow bone. Apply the color to create a half-moon shape. Then use your eye shadow brush to apply color to the inner crease and bring the brush outwards, making sure to blend back and forth to create even coverage along the lids. When it comes to eyeliner, Ellen likes to sport a slender, yet dense line. Using black liner, proceed to line the entire upper and lower rims of the eyes. Create luscious lashes by using an eyelash curler and hold for a few seconds to create extra definition to the curl. Follow this with thickening mascara (black or dark brown) on the upper and lower lashes.

Add a touch of pink cream blush to the apples of your cheeks using your fingertips and blend upwards towards your temples. Keep the lips simple by using a moist lip gloss. Ellen favors a shade of gloss in a blue-pink color. For best results, apply the lip gloss with a lip brush.
