I love it when I find a lip glass that looks just right on me or when a new eye shadow detracts from my hereditary dark circles. It feels like my world becomes a better place – if only for a brief self centered moment. So if lip gloss and eye shadow get me all jazzed up, what do those in the know and with unlimited funds get excited about in their beauty worlds? Eight celebs shared their favs.

Designer Donatella Versace said eye pencils that “create a soft, smoky look that is demure and seductive at the same time” are on her must-have list. She also shared that she simply must “spend, spend, spend on creams because they make me feel spoiled and pampered.”

Actress Diane Kruger who co-stared in Troy and National Treasure, says she loves “the classic 40’s look that a matte red lipstick gives.” Red lipstick can say just about anything you want it to. It can seductive, sassy, bold, or demure and sensitive. The matte finish says, “I don’t have to bowl you over to be seen. You’ll notice me without me even trying.”

Designer Cynthia Rowley can’t live without golden rose colored blush. “I wear a lot of sunscreen at the beach, so I put on blush in the evening to create that sun-kissed glow.” Sunscreen is one of the hottest skin treatments going, especially on celebrity faces. That makes the perfect shade of blush a must-have for evenings and appearances.

Reality television star, Lauren Conrad admits that she would never be without her favorite mascara and lip balm. Mascara defines her eyes for everything from appearances to beach parties. Lip balm that isn’t sticky is a must – so the sand doesn’t stick!

Karolina Kurkova graces runways across the globe. She confesses that botanical eye gel is one her favorite beauty products. “It’s perfect for when you don’t want to use concealer.” Eye gel that brightens the eyes is always on-hand for this beauty.

Model Elle Macpherson simply loves her lip gloss. She says that she never wears lipstick because she wants her lips to look natural. Gloss that offers a natural shine and stays put without becoming sticky or runny is a must.

Actress Molly Sims says that her bronzing spray is a favorite. A great bronzing spray goes on evenly and never ever leaves spots or runs. It just gives you an all-over boost of color. She also won’t leave home without eye color and liner in very subtle, neutral shades. “You don’t look like you have anything on, but you still look kind of sexy.”

Author and designer, India Hicks says her dry skin loves nothing more than tinted moisturizer. The thickness and the SPF are both beneficial to dry skin and offer the perfect coverage for summer months when you want to look like you’ve just walked off the beach.
