If your eyes are tired, give them a lift with an eye massage. Not only will your tired eyes thank you, your eyesight will too.

3. With your thumbs, press at the area located right above the inner corner of your eye where the crease of your lid begins. Press and release for a count of 5 times.

9. Using the tips of your index fingers, gently massage the area located in the back of the skull, directly behind the eyes. Take care not to press to hard since this is a tender spot. Continue to massage the area for 1 minute.

10. Using your thumb and index finger, press the fleshy webbed area on your opposite hand. Press and release for a count of 5 times. Repeat with the other hand.

You can use the above massaging techniques alone or with an eye cream.   You can also try using a coconut oil or olive oil on the temples and neck. Never use oils or anything not meant specifically for the eye area. Your eyes are very sensitive and using a harsh perfumed lotion or oil can irritate eyes. And finally, always use a gentle touch. Tugging and pulling at the skin around your eyes can cause damage.
