Denim skirts can either make or break your outfit, especially if you aren’t sure how to wear them. Denim skirts range from mini skirts to full length, A-line skirts. All are great in fashion but it’s important to know what goes with them and what doesn’t. When it comes to denim mini skirts, you’re already drawing a lot of attention to your legs so instead of going overboard by wearing high heels or knee-high boots, dress down your footwear by pairing your mini with a cute pair of flats. If you have a lot of junk in the trunk, know that denim may hike your skirt up a few inches in the back, not to mention that it may cause the fabric to jut straight out. To comfortably wear a short denim skirt with a round bottom, search for denim that is also made with a combination of spandex or lycra. When all else fails, choose the right skirt length and avoid a mini skirt if you can’t manage to make it work with your backside.

The best denim skirts are A-lined and fall just below the knee. Choose one with a nipped waist, since this style tends to go with almost any figure. Additionally, this clothing item works well with just about any top and shoes.
