Make it slightly off-center and allow the ends to dangle. Layer three completely different belts (alter colors, patterns or textures), tying one and buckling the other two.

Speaking of turtlenecks, this staple of cold weather fashion has been updated with fitted scrunch necklines that reach your chin or straight necks that have a fold-over collar at the very top. While a turtleneck may not seem like an add-on piece, consider the many ways you can layer over it – wraps, shawls, stolls, or a handful of necklaces that tier from your collarbone to your waist.

Using one add-on can revolutionize your look. Consider the possibilities the next time you look in an antique store or your grandmother’s jewelry box or at a fabric supply store. The more inventive and creative the add-on, the more fashionable your outfit becomes.
