For those of you who aren’t quite up on fashion lingo, a camisole is a type of women’s undergarment that has thin straps and is worn under blouses and suits. Many camisoles are made of soft and comfortable fabrics and are decorated with lace trim. However, the camisole is now showing that it is capable of being known to the world and not hidden under layers of clothing. Camisoles are not only cute and stylish, they’re also very comfortable. For that reason alone, many women now openly wear camisoles on the weekends and for daily activities. Others also feature helpful styles such as built-in shelf bras so you won’t have to worry about peek-a-boo bra straps or your nipples showing through your clothing. On your next date or girls’ night out, you can turn to your camisole to create a timeless look that will catch everyone’s eye. Find a camisole with a lace or beaded design and pair it up with a sexy skirt or your favorite slacks. Even skinny jeans, sleek heels and a camisole with the right accessories can turn you into a nighttime knockout.

In the workplace, however, you should keep your camisole from garnering too much attention. Stick to solid colors and delicate prints instead of sheer, lacy or beaded designs, which can be too much for the office. Because it is a place of work, you’ll want to avoid wearing your camisole by itself and instead keep it less sexy and more professional by allowing it to peek through your blazer or layered tops. Save that fun camisole for the weekend and evening events.
