If you want to grow long and beautiful nails, you should begin by eating a well-balanced diet that is rich in calcium. Calcium is essential for strong, healthy nails. Milk, cheese and broccoli are all an excellent source for calcium.

Harsh detergents can easily weaken and stress nail fibers. To avoid this problem, be sure to wear a pair of rubber gloves when doing laundry or dishes.
Another surprising factor to nails that won’t grow is, your hand or body lotion. If you use a lotion that contains perfumes, it can actually cause nails to become brittle. Instead, opt for a perfume-free lotion or minimize the problem y wearing latex gloves when applying the lotion to your body.
