Exercising your Way to Firmness

Exercising your Way to FirmnessAll women would like the firmest, perkiest, and shapeliest set of breasts they can have, and some women are willing to take drastic measures to achieve this ideal. In fact, Breast Augmentation surgery is one of the most sought-after surgeries in American, especially in middle-aged women whose body begins to undergo the effects of gravity. Still, there are many women who desire to pursue this ideal in a safer and more natural manner.

Gravity: The Inevitable

It’s a fact of life: gravity takes its toll on our bodies as we age whether we like it or not. The good news is that there are steps you can take to reduce the effects of gravity. Obviously, because of the weight and composition of our breasts, this   is where a woman’s body will begin sagging first as she ages, and is directly congruent with the ampleness of a woman’s breasts and the number of children she breastfeeds.

It’s Never To Early To Start Prevention

It is true that the amount of support breasts receive in their lifetime, in great part, determines the amount of sagging they will do later in life. That’s why it is key for women to continually offer ample support for their size and lifestyle. Active women, for example, need extra support because of the continual pulling of the breast tissue and underlying muscles, as do proportionately large-breasted women who naturally have more sag than smaller-breasted women. A good under-wire bra for the average women supplies enough support to reduce the affects of gravity later in life, as does a quality sports bra for the active woman.

What Else Can You Do?

Since breasts are composed of glands and fat cells only, nothing can be done to increase or decrease their size through natural methods. There are, however, exercises we women can do to ensure more firmness as we age. Breast exercises firm and tighten the muscles around and underneath the breasts and greatly influence shape and reduce sagging.

What`s the most beneficial exercise for breasts? Definitely swimming. Swimming requires the repetitive activation of the pectoral muscles, the muscles that support the breast tissue, resulting in that nice perky lift we all seek. There are also a number of exercises you can do at home, or at the gym, that fitness experts recommend. Anything that works this large chest muscle will have the same result. Working with small free weights in both the Dumbbell Bench press and the Butterfly Press will achieve desired results.   In case you’re not familiar with these exercises: Lie on you back with 3- 5 pound free weights; holding weights directly in front of you in line with your shoulders, lower weights to chest while squeezing the pectoral muscle, and raise back to original position. The Butterfly press begins in the same position, only here you will open arms to your side, not lowering completely to the floor, but just above it, where you’ll feel the activation of the Pectoral muscles. Two sets of fifteen in each position work great. And of course, there are always the traditional pull-ups and push-ups!
