Give Your Bubble Bath a Boost!

Give Your Bubble Bath a Boost!Kids enjoy bubble baths and adults should, too! It may not seem like you have enough hours in the day, but if you truly want to reward yourself with some personal “me” time, you should do so by giving yourself a relaxing bath. Of course taking a bath doesn’t just have to be you, the tub, and some suds. Go the extra mile by adding something extra to your bath to make it an experience you’ll want to relive more often.

Want to experience the finer things in life? Then whisk yourself away to the celebrity life by indulging in a Champagne bubble bath! You won’t need a lot of Champagne so be sure to enjoy the rest responsibly and keep the empty bottle for this bubble bath recipe. Gather together the following ingredients:

- ½ teaspoon of Champagne (or white wine of your choice)

- ¼ foaming concentrate

- 1 tablespoon of glycerin

- ¾ distilled water

- ½ teaspoon of regular table salt

Start off by heating your water on the stove (it doesn’t have to be boiling). Next, stir in your foaming concentrate and glycerin until it is completely dissolved. Follow up by adding in your Champagne or white wine, stirring consistently. Now add your salt and continue stirring until that dissolves. Let your mixture cool. To control the thickness/consistency of your mixture you can add another ¼ teaspoon of salt. Now take your mixture and carefully pour it into an empty Champagne bottle and cover with a cork. When you’re ready for your bubble bath, simply pour your mixture in and you’re set.

If you want your next bubble bath to have extra fizz, then you’ll enjoy this recipe for bubble bath bombs. You will need the following ingredients:

- ¼ teaspoon of fragrance oil (your choice)

- 3-6 drops of food coloring (optional)

- ¼ cup of baking soda

- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch

- 2 tablespoons citric acid

- 3 tablespoons coconut oil (or other oil of your choice)

- Paper candy cups

To make the bubble bath bombs, combine the cornstarch, baking soda, and citric acid into a bowl and mix well. In a small glass bowl, add your coconut oil, fragrance, and food coloring. Now add this mixture of oils into your first bowl of ingredients. Be sure to mix well. Soon you’ll have a consistency which will let you shape the mixture into small one inch balls. Put the balls on a sheet of wax paper and let them sit for two to three hours. Afterwards, put each ball into its own candy cup to dry and allow 24-48 hours for it to harden. Keep your bubble bath bombs in an air-tight container away from heat. When your bath is ready all you have to do is drop one to three bubble bath bombs and let the fizz fly!

Bath Tools

When choosing the next instrument for a bath or shower, there are four basic categories of cleansing tools: loofah, sponge, brush, and pad. Each category has its own qualities as far as cleansing and exfoliation go. The loofah originally came from a plant called "luffa", the fruit of which
