Reduce your chances of developing these two conditions by exercising your legs a few days out of the week. This can include brisk walking, jogging, leg lifts, riding a bicycle, climbing stairs, and stretching. All of these exercises combined work to improve the circulation in your legs. Additionally, prevent spider veins by avoiding long periods of standing on your feet or learning to prop up your legs and feet on a stool if you work in an office and stay seated most of the day.

 

Hair removal methods can make or break your legs as well. If you wax, shave, or use depilatories, make sure the product contains ingredients and formulas that are gentle on your skin. If you shave, be sure to take your time. Knicks and cuts can ruin otherwise perfectly shaved legs. Shaving in a hurry or incorrectly can not only cause cuts but can even remove skin so treat your legs with care when shaving. While in the shower or bath, pamper your legs by indulging them in a good exfoliating scrub. Choose a body scrub that has plenty of vitamins and moisturizing properties to eliminate dead skin layers and hydrate your skin for shiny, soft legs. Using a loofah or body brush helps buff away dry, flaky skin cells, as well as other blemishes such as ingrown hairs. Treating your legs to a thorough exfoliating scrub once to twice a week will be more than enough to keep your skin glowing and hydrated, and your legs free from ingrown hairs and other unsightly imperfections.

 

For the softest, smoothest, and sexiest legs, learn to moisturize! Choose a body lotion that is formulated with natural moisturizing ingredients and gently massage the lotion onto your legs. This will leave them refreshed, silky smooth and unbelievably sexy. Because the skin of the legs tends to get dry easily, you may want to opt for a thicker lotion for this area. There are plenty of special brands that contain rich emollients that will keep your legs moisturized all day and all night long.
