Beautiful
To make an interesting and pretty scented bath oil, first acquire a clear glass bottle or container with a tight fitting lid that can hold one cup of liquid. Combine a ½ cup of grapeseed oil, extra virgin olive oil, or almond oil with three drops of food coloring. Add the oil to the glass container. In a different container, add three drops of a different color to ½ cup lavender water or rose water. For an unscented oil, use spring water. Add the water to the oil. Enjoy how the oil and water separate into rings of color that can be shaken before use. One teaspoon of oil should be added to bath water.
Lavender and Rose Hand Cream
This simple hand cream softens the hands and has a unique floral scent. Combine 1/3 cup glycerin with 1/3 cup rose water and 1/3 cup lavender water. Pour the mixture into a nice bottle and shake gently before use.
Bathtub Finger Paints
Make a child inspired spa basket with a chamomile herbal bath bag and these fun bathtub finger paints. Combine a 1/3 cup of liquid baby soap with ½ tablespoon of cornstarch. Add a few drops of food coloring, and store in a tight closing container. Make several different colors for a cute and special gift.
Green Tea Scrub
This exfoliating scrub is a treat for dry, flaky skin that needs some softening and reinvigoration. Combine one cup of sea salt with one cup of sugar, ½ cup of baking soda and three tablespoons of powdered green tea. Add one capsule of vitamin E and ½ cup of almond oil and mix thoroughly with the dry ingredients. To use, rub a small amount rubbed in a circular motion on the desired area.
