For every girl who gets up morning after morning and does her hair, we have four simply sexy dos that will not only be cuter than ever, but will have you looking like you got up extra early just to look like the trendiest gal in the office. Our secret will be that these styles are so simple you can even do them on hair that hasn’t been washed. That earns you an extra 30 minutes of sleep! No matter what the texture of your hair, these styles will work and add pizzazz to your everyday look.

The first is a throwback to days of princesses and princes that come riding in on their stallions to court a pretty girl. This is the top braid that stretches across your head like a headband. This one looks great with smooth straight hair, and is especially pretty with even the most unruly of curls. Begin by parting your hair about two inches back from your forehead. Take all the hair in front of the part and begin your braid just above one ear. You’re braiding across the top of your head, so a french braid will work best. A regular braid will also work just be extra careful to stay close to your scalp. Once your braid has reached the other ear, secure the end with an elastic and either tuck or pin it behind your ear.

The second style is for those with bobbed hair. As if your short hair isn’t sexy enough, this poofed do will make it sexy extreme. Begin by spraying a volumizing spray all over your hair. Blow-dry upside down. Next use a small barreled burling iron to make ringlets halfway up the length of your hair. Don’t curl all the way to your head or you’ll end up with unmanageable poodle curls. Finger comb through the curls and muss-up the curls. And now for the pouf: take a large section of hair from the bang area and pouf it backwards. Pin it too your scalp. To finish, pull tiny tendrils out around the sides of your face.

Next is the coil. This amazingly simple style works on every type and length of hair (unless you’re short enough to spike.) The hardest part of this one is deciding how creative you want to be and what you want the finished product to look like. This style leaves the back of your hair down and straight, wavy, curly, however you decide. The front is twisted into coils that bend and twist all across the front and top of your head. To design this look, take a small amount of hair and twist it from scalp to end. Allow the twist to bend the strand into your desired look. Stretch the hair across your head to create your unique version of this style. Pin it to your head with a bobby pin or small clip.

The last style is even quicker than the last. Pull all your hair back and hold with a fabric headband or ribbon. Fasten the back into a high pony. Take small sections of the pony and twist each until they bend into your head. Fasten with a bobby pin allowing the ends to stick out where they please.
