The Haircut for Everyone

The Haircut for EveryoneFinding the perfect haircut can be tricky unless you know what to look for. Well, what if you could find a haircut that would look great on you, no matter what? Well, it’s definitely not impossible. The secret to the perfect haircut simply consists of a little layering and shoulder-length hair. No matter what your hair texture may be, what kind of face shape you have, no matter how tall or short you are, this cut will look great on almost anyone.

If you want a great example of a shoulder length cut with some added layers, check out model, Heidi Klum. Keep the layers simple and avoid too many layers in back. Instead, add the layers to the front and sides and keep the layers below the eyes.

Another option to this perfect cut is to give it a big of shag along with the layers. The shag cut consists of a shoulder-length cut that has more layers at the crown of the head, than anywhere else. During the hit television show, Friends, actress Jennifer Aniston could be seen wearing a similar shag cut.

If you’re worried about the length or just can’t part with your long hair, a great option to this perfect cut is to have the hair long in the back, cut in a v-shape and then the hair shorter on the sides with a few face framing layers, but keep them below the earlobes.

If you’re worried that you’ll get bored with the cut or you’ll look like everyone else in the world, you can easily play up the cut with some waves, curls or a few sparkly hair accessories. Or add a new hair color or some highlights to the look. You can also play around with the bangs to give this perfect cut your own personal style.

Once you have the perfect haircut, remember to get the perfect hair products designed specifically for your hair type. Going for just any shampoo and conditioner can cause your hair to work against you instead of with you.

If you have dry or damaged hair, look for a shampoo and conditioner containing moisturizer. If your hair has a lot of damage, you’re better of cutting it as short as you can and just starting over.

If you have oily hair, look for a deep cleansing formula since the oils in your hair can attract dirt more than usual.

Finally, keep in mind that after about a month, your hair is going to start growing out. When this happens, you should get it trimmed. If your cut is short enough, you will need to have it trimmed at least every 3-4 weeks. After all, no cut looks perfect if it’s not maintained! Happy Cutting!
