The Most Common Foundation Problems
Whilst there are many problems people find with foundation, there are a few that are more common than others. These include:
The Foundation Leaves a Line Around The Face
Whilst most women will relate to this, there are some who apply their foundation every morning, notice that it has left a line all the way around their face, and they wonder why on earth it is there. The simple answer is that you have the wrong color!
It is always better to test a color out before you buy it. Trying it on the back of your hand or on your chin are the best places to see whether the color will suit you. You really should choose a color as close to your natural skin tone as possible. Choosing a darker shade will not give you a tan it will simply just leave a horrible line and make you look silly. So, buy a color as close to your natural color as possible and test the color out before you purchase it!
The Foundation Always Seems to Stick Into The Pores
Again, this is another common problem which many women have, and basically it is to do with too much moisture on the face. Either you are overdoing it with the moisturizer every morning and night, or you are using a foundation which is not suitable for your face type. If you tend to have oily skin it is always better to wear an ultra-matt foundation. To sort out the problem try and dab some powder foundation over the top, and also when applying liquid foundation always apply it with a sponge instead of the fingers as the sponge removes any excess foundation that may be left over.
Overall applying foundation is easy once you know how. Many people simply just wipe foundation over their face, but it is usually better to dab the foundation into the skin using a sponge. That way, the results last for longer and your face will look completely natural.
