One of the trends in celebrity fragrances today is the creation of the “his and her “scents from a single celeb. Usher is one of the enterprising celebrities that has attached his name to a duo of fragrances. Usher for Men comes with basenotes of sandalwood, musk and black suede and is packaged in a very masculine black bottle with an etched silver cap. Donald Trump and Carlos Santana are two more household names that have added their own fragrance to their repertoire, and Santana’s line includes body wash and deodorant as well. You can also find a women’s line in Carlos Santana that offers a body wash and lotion in addition to the cologne.

For the rugged cowboy of the crowd, the makers of Stetson are now offering Tim McGraw in a bottle. This fragrance is sure to encompass the masculinity and spirit of the country singer, making it a shoe-in as a fragrance choice for many men. Another new line that is currently showing up on fragrance counters is the duo created by soccer star David Beckham and his ever trendy wife, Victoria Beckham. These fragrances are known as Intimately Beckham and will feature choices for both men and women.  

Many of the women who have jumped on the celebrity fragrance bandwagon, such as Jennifer Lopez and Brittney Spears, have proven that quality fragrance can come with a celebrity name. With a positive history and optimistic sales of celebrity fragrances, one can only imagine that celebrity fragrances for men will continue to be a popular choice as well. You may not look like a celebrity, but you can most certainly smell like one. Think star power.
