What do women of all ages have to say about men’s underwear choices? A lot. The world of boxers or briefs has expanded to include a wide variety of underwear and girls have as much to say about what you don’t see in a guy’s wardrobe as they say about shirt and pants. So read on gentlemen to find out what ladies really think about your underwear.

Boxers or briefs? And why? That’s what we asked. This is how the ladies responded about each.

“Definitely boxers because they just look manlier. A guy in a pair of boxers is totally sexy and the look is casual – not like he’s hanging out in his underwear, but he’s still in his underwear so it’s sexy. And what girl doesn’t love to hang out in her guy’s (clean) boxers. Also no one wants to see a pair of tighty whities hanging out of the waistband of his jeans, but boxers are okay to see. But only the kind that have the seam in the back. The kind that have the pouch are gross.”

“Briefs are absolutely the sexiest underwear a guy can wear. They hug – need I say more. Think Tom Cruise. Briefs are confident, but only if you’ve got the figure for it. If a guy has a muffin gut hanging over his waistband, forget it. And please guys, throw them away long before they go from form fitting to baggy.”

“I love the boxer briefs that are cut like boxers but fit snug like briefs. They are still sexy and tight but they don’t remind me of panties. That’s why you see so many models in them. And if a guy has great thighs, you can’t beat that look.”

“I’ve only ever seen one guy in bikini briefs that didn’t make me want to laugh and point, but I must say, on him, they were impressive. I think the real downfall of bikini briefs for men is that they come in bright colors and that’s just comedy. I do know guys who wear them and they swear that they’re comfortable enough endure the ridicule.”

“My favorite in men’s underwear are the mid-rise briefs. My girlfriends hate them. They say they look like girl’s underwear, but I think they’re hot. They show off a guy’s waist and his hips.”

Most women said they preferred colored or patterned underwear of all styles over plain white. As a whole, more women preferred boxers to all other types of men’s underwear with boxer briefs coming in as a strong second.

Of all the women who responded, not one was divided on her opinion. All the girls had an instant and unwavering position on their preference. It seems that women care as much if not more about what guys are wearing under their clothes as guys do. While some girls did agree that if their boyfriend or husband really preferred underwear that she didn’t, as long as it were really a comfort issue, she’d deal with his choice.
