Many women who begin to reach their 30’s will find that their skin will become dull and uneven as a result of the damaging effects from our air’s pollution. Soybean oil can help to counter the effects of damage caused by the sun, exposure to smoke and the pollution found in our air. It is high in fatty acids making it an essential for our skin. Soybeans are also loaded with anti-oxidants like Vitamin E and vitamin B complex both necessary for beautifully radiant skin and prevention of wrinkles. Soybean oil helps to even out skin tone and improve skin’s texture resulting in brighter, more radiant skin. Knowing this, many beauty manufacturers have taken advantage of the recent soy fascination and have included natural soy-based ingredients in their product lines.
Soybean, particularly in the form of milk curd, is also highly beneficial since it helps in slowing down the aging process with regular use. The soybean is also a natural remedy towards eczema and other skin affections. If soybean is taken generously it can lessen the itching caused by eczema almost immediately and in a few days completely stop the itching all together. The skin lesions caused by the eczema will also mostly likely disappear after several days.
For those who are interested in a more natural approach, a diet rich in soy can provide the nutrients necessary in maintaining beautiful looking skin.
No longer are we limited to just tofu. Today there are a wide variety of food products made from soy such as soy flour, soy protein, sprouts, milk, yogurt and cheese. Soy flour is one of the more widely used products made from soybeans and is actually more nutritious than wheat flour. Soy protein is a powder processed from the soy plant and used mostly for shakes and some desserts. Soy protein however does not contain most of the fiber found in soy because it is removed in the manufacturing process. An added benefit to soy protein however is that it is easily absorbed by the body unlike soymilk.
And while many of us may step back at the thought of tofu, there are actually a tremendous amount of recipes available both on and offline. Tofu is an excellent base for shakes and more nutritious than soy protein.
However you decide to include soy into your lifestyle the added benefits are definitely worthwhile and your skin will thank you for it.
