Want to Look Younger? Try Sugar!

look youngerYour skin is the largest organ of your body, and it’s the first to show visible signs of age. Wrinkles pop up before you even notice. That flat tummy now has a little pooch. Following you can’t hold back the hands of time, you can keep those “hands” at bay. With some simple suggestions, you can take care of your weight and your skin with one simple trick. Instead of putting that extra teaspoon of sugar in your coffee try putting it in your bathtub instead.

Cutting back on sugar is important not only for weight control but also to keep your skin looking younger. While it is advisable to limit on the sweet stuff, you can heap it up when it comes to using sugar as a bath scrub. Sugar has become the hot, new ingredient in body scrubs these days. It is an effective element to exfoliate your skin. Sugar can gently remove the dead cells without irritating sensitive skin.

Many cosmetic companies are now using natural sugar combined with oils and other food additives to create marvelous products for the bath that not only feel good but smell great too. But if you are on a budget, you can always make your own sugar body scrubs at home. Simply mix equal parts of sugar, some vegetable oil, a few drops of essential oils of your choice, and you have a wonderful treat for your next shower or bath.

Body scrubs are not the only products using sugar. There are some wonderful lip glosses that add a sweet taste in addition to a shiny luscious color. You can also find sugar in some new deodorants. What an ambrosial treat to have that aroma nearby!

So now that heaping teaspoon of sugar will be really doing you some good. Instead of going to your waistline, it will give your skin that glow of good health. The granules will remove those dead cells and give your skin that smooth feeling as well as a healthy radiance. Your skin will feel as soft and young as a baby.
