The Problem: Brown Spots
Over time you may have noticed small brown patches of discoloration on your complexion and/or your chest area. It is important to know that if you are not currently suffering from melasma due to being pregnant (or from a previous pregnancy) or are not taking any birth control that may be causing the brown spots, this means taking anti-aging action with a diligent sun care regimen. Aside from the two causes mentioned, for some women this particular sign of aging sometimes appears for no reason at all.
The solution: Sun Care
Because brown spots are made worse by exposure to the sun, stepping up the sun care is vital. Instead of using traditional sunscreen, opt for a sunblock lotion instead with an SPF of at least 55 or higher. Make sure the sunblock lotion you choose is formulated to block both UVA and UVB rays. Pair your sunblock lotion with protective clothing and accessories (hats, sunglasses, wraps) when spending time out in the sun and these actions will keep existing brown spots from getting darker, as well as prevent new spots from cropping up. An additional step that can be taken includes getting gentle chemical peels for the complexion to fade the spots and create a more even skin tone.
The Problem: Random Wrinkles
You probably didn’t expect to see wrinkles on your complexion until well into your 40s but many women experience this sign of aging in their 30s. From dreaded crow’s feet to forehead wrinkles and “laugh lines,” this sign of aging can damper any woman’s mood.
The Solution: Vitamin C & Sunblock
Women that have spent their early years absorbing UVA and UVB rays and/or maintain the nasty habit of smoking have much more damage control to do for their wrinkles, since the sun and smoking are major contributing factors. To treat moderate to severe wrinkles, sunblock lotion is a must and should be used on a daily basis. However, before applying the sunblock lotion, smooth a layer of anti-aging serum onto your complexion. An anti-aging serum rich in vitamin C is ideal because it works with the ingredients in the sunblock to make it more effective against UVA and UVB rays. It goes without saying that the best anti-aging action to take in this situation is to quit smoking sooner than later.
The Problem: Random Hairs
As women reach their 30s they may be shocked to discover that they now have to deal with more hair removal issues - and not just on their legs, underarms or bikini areas, either. During the 30s, a woman’s body goes through changes in androgen and estrogen production, which often causes random hairs to appear like whiskers on the complexion, nipples, chin and abdomen.
The Solution: Hair Removal Products
Just as you would tackle regular hair removal, the same products and techniques can also be applied to unwanted random hairs. From plucking and electrolysis to waxing and laser removal, these methods provide effective results.
