DIY Recipes for Moisturizers Based on Skin Type

DIY Recipes for Moisturizers Based on Skin TypeDo you love finding recipes and putting together your own products? Then you’ll enjoy the convenience of learning how to create your own skincare products. More people are starting to appreciate the ability to put together their own specialized skincare items to save them time and money. If you’re looking for good recipes for moisturizers, then you’re in luck! The following recipes are not only fun and effective, but you can find just the right one for your particular skin type.

For those with oily skin, you’ll want to create a moisturizer that will keep your complexion soft and hydrated but won’t cause your skin to produce more oil. Gather together the following ingredients:

·    4 drops rose essential oil

·    ¼ cup distilled water

·    ¼ cup rose water

·    ½ cup almond oil

·    5 drops galbanum essential oil

·    2 tablespoons grated beeswax

Mix your beeswax with your distilled water and place on the stove, using low heat. When the mixture is thoroughly blended, pour your mixture into a blender and use a low speed setting. During the blending process, add in your rose water and essential oils, also gradually add in your almond oil. Afterwards, your mixture should look a bit like frosting as it thickens after cooling down. Finally, pour this mixture into a jar and use when ready.

Dry skin types and sensitive skin types can greatly benefit from the following recipe:

·    1 tablespoon olive oil

·    2 tablespoons grated beeswax

·    ½ cup cocoa butter

·    2 teaspoons distilled water

·    3 tablespoons sesame oil

·    2 tablespoons coconut oil

Mix your distilled water and beeswax and place over low heat on your stove. In the same pot, add in your cocoa butter, followed by your sesame, coconut, and olive oil. Be sure to blend thoroughly. Next, pour this mixture into a jar and allow it to thicken as it cools down. Now it’s ready to use.

Normal and combination skin types will love the following avocado moisturizer recipe:

·    1 teaspoon lemon juice

·    1 medium avocado

·    200 grams curd

·    1 teaspoon honey

Combine your avocado and honey into a blender to make a puree. Pour in your lemon juice and curd and blend until you get a thick, creamy consistency. Pour your mixture into a jar and place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes and remove afterwards to use.

Need a moisturizer strong enough to handle a man’s complexion? Then you’ll want to get together the following ingredients:

·    12 drops sandal oil

·    2 tablespoons olive oil

·    2 teaspoons lanolin

·    6 tablespoons thyme infusion

·    2 teaspoons beeswax

This recipe is probably the easiest of all to prepare and use. Simply melt your beeswax over low heat and then stir in all of your ingredients. Make sure to blend them all thoroughly until you have a nice, thick, and creamy mixture. Remove from heat and allow your moisturizer to cool. This will allow it to thicken. When you’re ready, apply it to your complexion and enjoy.
