Thermal Face Lifts

Thermal Face LiftsWhen it comes to aging, for many the results aren’t pretty. Sagging skin, wrinkles, crow’s feet and other negative factors have women running to plastic surgeons and making Botox appointments to turn back the hands of time. However, there are options available for those who don’t wish to go under the knife. The thermal face lift is one of them.

The typical face lift consists of making incisions into certain areas of the face in order to perform muscle and skin reconstruction. These procedures can take a considerable amount of time to heal properly, not to mention the costs. Other solutions to the traditional face lift include special procedures such as acupuncture and other face lift methods that don’t require surgery but the results often aren’t as good as many would hope for.

So what makes the thermal face lift any different? For one, it involves no surgical incisions or other invasive factors. Thermal face lifts use radio frequency waves, which easily penetrate the skin. The presence of these radio waves heats the deep layers of skin, which results in a tightening effect. Because the radio waves are able to get down deep into the layers beneath the skin’s surface, the heat is also able to build collagen. The end result is a tighter, more youthful complexion and banished wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin. The entire process only takes about an hour. Irritation on the skin from the heat is common and typically goes away after a few hours. Applying anesthetic cream can also take care of any skin irritation that may occur.

The thermal face lift is an ideal anti-aging method for those who want to improve the cheeks, eyes, brow and around the eye area. For some patients, visible results can take a few months to appear but for many there are some immediately noticeable signs afterwards. This process works best for removing fine lines and crow’s feet. Just about anyone can be a viable candidate for a thermal face lift due to the fact that it does not carry any risk of complications, long recovery times or other factors commonly associated with other face lift procedures.

While the thermal face lift is growing in popularity, it is also important to remember that one has to be realistic about the results. As effective as the radio waves are, it will not provide the same dramatic changes that a traditional face lift will. In order to get the best results, choose a medical practitioner that is specially trained in thermal face lifts. Dealing with only the best will prevent you from dealing with rare occurrences that come with inexperience such as minor burns. As with any type of medical process, do your research, conduct consultations with more than one thermal face lift practitioner and be sure to see before and after pictures. If needed, it doesn’t hurt to ask for references either.
