India is being targeted as a major area of growth for the Sephora line of beauty stores. Over a five year period, Sephora, a division of LVMH ( Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) , plans to open fifty stores throughout the country. LVMH hopes to ink partnership deals with some of India’s leading retail companies.

The company is also exploring the possibility of creating a luxury retail business in India.

Sephora is a French-based chain of beauty stores with operations in many countries worldwide. The company has over 250 different brands in its portfolio of products which includes skincare, cosmetics and fragrances.
