Virtue, a new perfume from IBI is said to be the first of its kind – a spiritual perfume meant to remind the wearer of God. The fragrance, according to the company is uniquely the wearer as the scent blends with the individual’s own odor to create ‘a distinct scent’.
President of the California-based IBI, Viki Pratt is quoted as stating that “No one has ever done this in a perfume.”
Virtue took six years to develop and is expected to be sold for $80 per 1.7 fluid ounce bottle. The inspiration for a spiritual perfume came from the Bible according to chief executive officer of IBI, Rick Larimore.
