Almost One Million American Men had Plastic Surgery In 2006

The latest figures from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) revealed that almost one million American men had cosmetic surgery in 2006. As is the trend, men are going for fast recovery time and great results and are opting for Botox injections and liposuction. The ASAPS report indicates that U.S, men had over three hundred thousand (300,0000) Botox injections and in excess of fifty-three thousand (53,0000) liposuction procedures last year. This represents a whopping 722 percent increase from 1997 to 2006.

 

According to the ASAPS, baby boomers are the leading age group opting for anti-aging cosmetic surgery.
