Avon has for years provided an outlet for women trying to nurture their entrepreneurial spirit. Now the company has some help from Karren Brady who has appeared on the British version of The Apprentice. Brady will mentor women who sell Avon beauty products published reports state.

Brady explained her message to Avon representatives by saying, “…you don`t have to have an ambition to run a global bank and you don`t have to be at home just running a family.” President of Avon UK’s arm described Brady as “…an inspirational figure for women and a fantastic ambassador for the financial empowerment that Avon offers them.”

Brady became the first woman to take a top position at a Premier League soccer club in the UK. Earlier this year she was named vice-chairman of West Ham United.
