 Dandruff
 It is the flaking of the dead skin which forms on the scalp. Large amount of flaking is termed as dandruff. Dandruff can spread through the common use of combs, hairbrushes, towels and soaps. Dry dandruff and Waxy dandruff are two types of dandruff.
  
 Darier’s Disease
 Darier’s disease causes dark crusty patches on the skin which at times contain pus. These crusty patches are known as keratotic papules. It normally affects the neck, back, ears, forehead and groin but may also affect other body areas. It is considered to be caused by a defective disease.
  
 Deep Tissue Massage
 Deep tissue massage seeks to release chronic tension by means of slow strokes and deep finger pressure. It helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from the muscles, and encourages circulation.
  
 Deodorant
 These are cosmetic products that are used to lessen the body odor. They are generally applied in the armpit region. Antiperspirants are a subgroup of deodorants that reduces perspiration prevents odor.
  
 Dermatofibroma
 It is a harmless benign skin growth, especially found on the legs. These rounded bumps or hard papules vary in color from brownish to purple. The exact cause of Dermatofibroma is not known.
  
 Dermis
 The skin layer below the epidermis is the dermis. The dermis is tightly connected to the epidermis and is the house for nerves that provide sense of heat and touch. It also contains sweat glands, hair follicles and blood vessels.
  
 Diaper Dermatitis
 Diaper Dermatitis or diaper rash is an irritation of the skin in areas such as the lower stomach, buttocks, upper thighs and the groin. Exposure to urine and feces for extended duration leads to the removal of the natural oil and thereby causing diaper dermatitis.
  
 Digestive Enzymes
 The raw foods you eat contain digestive enzymes which can contribute toward preventing the vitamin and mineral deficiencies that will leave your skin looking lifeless and listless.
  
 Discoid Erythema Nodosum
 Erythema nodosum is an inflammation of subcutaneous fat tissue. It appears to be a painful bruise on both the shins. The person affected by Erythema nodosum may feel as if suffering from flu.
  
 Discoid Lupus Erythematosus
 In this condition inflammation and scarring type skin lesions occur on the ears, face, scalp and at times on the other areas of the body. This disease is more common in African Americans. The exact cause of this condition is not known and it is believed to be autoimmune with the body’s immune system incorrectly attacking normal skin.
  
 Dry Skin
 It is a condition in which the skin has a parched look because of its inability to retain moisture. Dry skin is prone to sensitivity. Cracking and Chapping are signs of dehydrated and extremely dry skin.
  
 Dyshidrotic Dermatitis
 It is form of hand eczema. It is more common in women and starts on the side of the fingers. In the beginning it is itchy and then develops into a rash. In some cases it can only affect the feet. The exact cause of Dyshidrotic Dermatitis is not known.
