 Scabies
 It is an itchy condition of the skin which is caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. It is a contagious disease. The mite burrows into the skin and lays egg there. A hardly visible zigzag blister marks the trail of the insect when the mite lays egg.
  
 Schamberg’s Disease
 It results in the chronic discoloration of the skin which affects the legs and spreads slowly. This disease commonly occurs in males. This disease results in the formation of leaky blood vessel walls that allow red blood cells to enter into the skin.
  
 Sclerotherapy
 Sclerotherapy is the medical procedure to treat the varicose and spider veins occur when tiny subcutaneous veins converge, causing discolorations. Common on the thighs, ankles, and calves of the legs, women are more likely to complain of them than men.
  
 Sebaceous Hyperplasia And Fordyce`s Condition
 Sebaceous Hyperplasia is a skin disease which generally affects the youth. The patient develops yellowish growth on the face. Fordyce`s Condition is a condition in which yellow dots are seen in the oral mucous membrane.
  
 Seborrheic Keratoses
 These are benign plaques and range from brown to beige or even black. They are 3 to 20 mm in diameter and have warty or velvety surface. It appears as if they have been pasted or stuck onto the skin. They look like brown wax on the skin.
  
 Sensitive Skin
 Skin that reacts to some products and shows signs of redness or irritation is known as sensitive skin. Sensitive skin can develop blotches and rashes. Sensitive skin should be washed twice a day and fewer products should be applied on the face.

 It is a kind of cancer that is caused as a result of long term sun damage to the skin. It can spread to all parts of the body including the eyes. Biopsy needs to be undertaken to confirm the disease.
  
 Steam Distillation
 Steam distillation is a common means by which essential oils are extracted from chamomile (Anthemis nobilis). The aromatic blossoms are harvested when they are in full bloom, and then their essential oils are extracted by steam distillation.
  
 Stretch Marks
 It is a form of a scarring which is associated with bodybuilding, obesity, puberty and pregnancy. It is caused due to overstretching of skin which results in the disruption of normal production of collagen and hence results in scars.

 Subcutaneous fat is one of three layers in human skin. Above it lay the dermis with blood vessels, nerves, hair roots, and sweat glands; and above both, the translucent epidermis.
  
 Sugaring
 Body sugaring is a technique for removing body hair. Boil sugar with lemon and honey; dust your body with cornstarch, and then spread a think layer of the cool product. Cover it with a strip of fabric; rub the fabric away from the hair’s growth, and then pull it off quickly against the grain of the hair.
  
 Sun Allergy
 It is an immune system reaction to sunlight which results in an itchy red rash. This disease most commonly affects the “V” of the neck, the outside surface of the arms and the lower legs and the back of the hands.
  
 Sun Bed
 It is a device that emits ultra violet rays. It is generally used for cosmetic purposes like artificial tanning. UVB rays from the sun bed can cause cancer. The emission of UV rays by the sun bed stimulates production of endorphins.
  
 Sun Burn
 Sun burn is a burn that occurs as a result of exposure to the skin. The exposure to the sun’s UV rays causes the skin to burn. Protecting the skin from sun prevents sun burns.
  
 Sun Spots
 Sun spots or age spot are harmless brown and flat discoloration of the skin that is generally found on the back of the neck and hands. They are caused as a result of exposure to the sun.
  
 Sunscreen
 Sunscreens - whether lotions, sprays, or another topically-applied cosmetic - are formulated to help protect the skin from the sun’s ultraviolet radiation, reduce sunburn, and diminish the risk of skin cancer.
  
 Supplements
 It includes proteins, vitamins, minerals, fiber that are taken by people to enhance their diet. It is not conventional food or a sole item of diet or meal. It can not replace conventional food.
  
 Swedish Massage
 In Swedish massage, a variety of different pressure techniques are used to relax muscles, increase the oxygen flow in the blood, and allow the muscles to release toxins. It also reduces emotional and physical stress.
  
 Synthetic Hair
 Synthetic hair or artificial hair is made using different kinds of fibers. They come in different styles. Synthetic hair should not be curled as they can easily tangle or frizz out.
