While many cosmetics companies are scrambling to snatch up hot young stars, Avon has clearly decided to make a statement. According to reports online, the company recently signed Jacqueline Bisset to represent a new beauty range. Bisset, who is now 65, will appear in campaigns for the ANEW Platinum range of products.

A quote attributed to the actress online states, “I am excited to be working with Avon on the ANEW Platinum Collection, as it specifically addresses the needs of women with my skincare concerns.” The new collection will be available in the fall, with a night cream expected to be one of the products first rolled out. Avon’s Vice President, Global Skincare Marketing, Andre Baradat described Bisset as “…everything the ANEW woman aspires to be - beauty, poise and sophistication.”
