According to actress, Cate Blanchett, wrinkles can be sexy. In an interview published online, Blachett said that “For me, I think what will be sexy in 50 years time will be wrinkles.” The 39-year old Australian also lamented the change cosmetic surgery is causing. According the article, Blanchett said, “That’s not particularly attractive,” referring to men and women in their 50s who have had cosmetic surgery to look younger. Blanchett believes that Hollywood’s obsession with plastic surgery is unpleasant.

The award-winning actress has starred in a number of hit movies including The Talented Mr. Ripley, The Lord of Rings trilogies and Elizabeth for which she won an Academy award. Fans of Blanchett can now see her in Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
