Singer Mary J. Blige is used to having big hits, so the latest reports online should come as no surprise to her or her fans. After adding her name to the crowded celebrity fragrance list Blige set a record on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). Reports indicate that sales of her scent My Life quickly topped fifty thousand on the popular shopping outlet in one weekend.

Blige has been quoted as saying of the new scent, “Me and a lot of my fans want to smell soft and a little fruity — but not too fruity with bees chasing us around — and also strong and beautiful … It’s all there.” Judging by the sales it would seem many of her fans agree with her.
