According to online reports Botox seems to be becoming part of the beauty regimen of many women. In fact the number of anti-wrinkle injections administered has surpassed one million every year. This may be in keeping with data that suggest a jump in less expensive cosmetic procedures due to the economic downturn.

Other facial fillers such as Restylane have gotten a boost thanks to this new trend. A report by beauty research company Mintel suggests that popular cosmetic procedures may be making a comeback. There was a nine percent increase in demand for these procedures between 2008 and 2010.
