The newest plastic surgery craze in Britain is jawline surgery. According statistics from cosmetic surgeons in Britain there has been a 35% increase in the number of persons having chin enhancement surgery. The surgery involves placing a silicone or other implant into the chin which pushes the chin forward giving the face a more balanced look. The implant is inserted through an incision in the mouth.

The procedure costs upwards of £3,500. Despite the high increase in jawline surgery in Britain, the report states that it is higher in Europe in general with a 50% increase reported.
