Australian actress Cate Blanchett is the global ambassador for luxury Proctor & Gamble (P&G) skin care brand, SK-II. She has been the brand’s ambassador in her native Australia for over three years. As SK-II’s global ambassador, Blanchett will be the brand’s face in advertisements. The 38-year old Academy-award winning actress said of this expansion of her role, “Throughout my career, I have only accepted roles that I am passionate about, and my partnership with SK-II is no different. I truly believe I already played as ambassador long before SK-II caught up with me.”

Blanchett has appeared in the Lord of the Ring trilogy and The Aviator, for which she won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Katharine Hepburn.
