Come September 12, a new hair care range will be launched. The Model.Me hair care line is a joint venture between English singer, Jamelia (Jamelia Niela Davis) and models Helena Christensen and Erin O’Connor. The 15 piece hair care range is said to be designed specially for Afro-Caribbean hair, as well as other short, natural-looking hairstyles. The range was designed in collaboration with hairdressing giant, Toni & Guy.
Twenty-six year old Jamelia noted that “…it’s about time that there was a hair care range specifically designed for ethnic hair available on every high street.” Thirty-eight year old Christensen was a popular supermodel in the 1990s, while 29-year old O’Connor has modeled for some of the top designers including Christian Dior and Donna Karan.
The Model.Me range is slated to be launched at Boots Stores on the 12th September. The products will then be made available at Toni & Guy salons.
