Audrey Tautou, star of the mega hit, The Da Vinci Code has replaced Oscar winning actress, Nicole Kidman as the face of Chanel No. 5. The 29-year old French actress will appear in Chanel No. 5’s new TV commercial slated to hit the airwaves in 2009, as well as in print ads.
The new ads, both TV and print will be shot by noted French director, Jean-Pierre Jeunet. This is not their first time working together, as he directed Tautou in the 2001 award-winning movie, Amelie for which she gained an Oscar nomination.
