Apart from grapes, it has been found that CoffeeBerry Extract has been found to contain a high concentration of polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant. It is believed that polyphenols, when applied externally can prevent cellular skin damage which causes skin to age. Research conducted has verified the claims made about the antioxidant properties of polyphenols, indicating that coffee berry extract has up to five times the antioxidant content of pomegranate. Other souces of the ingredient are pomegranates, chocolate and tea.
