Luxury footwear brand Louboutin is getting ready to wade into the waters of beauty and cosmetics. According to published reports, Christian Louboutin is preparing a beauty line to complement his popular shoes. There is already an early buzz for the upcoming line, which is expected to be launched next year.

Louboutin himself said that the upcoming range must “…mirror the quality of the shoes, of the bags, of all the DNA of the brand." He added "Beauty products also have to do with empowering women.” The famed footwear designer has teamed up with Batallure Beauty LLC to create the line. The company’s co-founder Robin Burns thinks that Louboutin’s understanding of women will help to deliver something special.
