Consumers are talking and the nail care industry is listening. According to data from market research company, Mintel, 68.9 percent of British females believe that having stronger nails is an important part of taking care of themselves. This demand for stronger nails is driving nail care products manufacturers to include minerals and vitamins to their offerings, including nail polish removers. However, at this stage it is mostly the high-end products that are driving this trend.
Mintel also predicts that the inclusion of ‘botanicals and herbal ingredients’ is the next step as consumers demand healthier personal care items.
