Owning over 1000 stores worldwide seems to be just the beginning for cosmetics retail powerhouse, Sephora. Reports online suggest that the retail chain plans to open a new store in Hong Kong this Friday. Plans are also afoot to open 15 new stores around the city during the next 5 years. Sephora’s new store will carry its own range as well as some products from the top names in the industry.
The retailer originated in France and was later purchased in 1997 by LVMH. According to reports, the new store will have 2 floors and 500 square meters of space. It will be located in Hollywood Plaza in Mongkok. Currently Sephora also has counters in New York, Milan and Paris among other areas. LVMH is an international
company comprising over 50 high end brands.
