Holiday shopping trends come and go, but it looks like this Christmas, cosmetic surgery will be on many lists. According to plastic surgeon Dr. Tenley Lawton, the decline in consumer spending is not being seen in many cosmetic surgery practices. Boob jobs and mommy makeovers are reportedly among the most in-demand procedures.

Dr. Lawton was quoted online as saying, “It seems the patients I`ve seen for consultation over the last month are looking at 2012 as a year of rebirth.” She noted that even adults have bought gift certificates for their moms for  injectables fillers. Interestingly, most recipients wait until after the holidays to use these plastic surgery gift certificates.
