As people age skin becomes looser as it loses elasticity; this is a sign of aging that baby boomers are now tackling. According the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) increasing numbers of baby boomers are having face and body lifts. There was a 27% increase in the number of thigh lifts performed since 2005 for persons aged 40 to 54. Other popular procedures for the same age group were lower body lifts, upper arm lifts, threadlift face lifts and breast lifts. Figures for the 55 and older age group also showed similar increases for various lifts.
