After much jubilation that the Donda West bill will be passed to help protect prospective plastic surgery patients, California’s governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger snipped it. West, mother of hip hop star, Kanye West died lat last year following complications from plastic surgery. The proposed bill was the act of Democratic Assemblywoman, Wilmer Amina Carter
In vetoing the bill, Schwarzenegger reportedly explained that, “This bill does not meet that standard (top-priority legislation), and I cannot sign it at this time.” According to reports, the Donda West bill was just one of many the governor vetoed due to a serious backlog in the State.
