Eurogran and Chr. Hansen have claimed that their Le Royal ChocoDark is loaded with anti-aging antioxidants. The drink has been fortified with the addition of carotenoids from palm oil. The chocolate drink which will be available through vending machines throughout Europe is the newest addition to the growing line of edible skin care products. The drink will first be launched in Cologne, Germany at an exhibition to be held September 20, 2007.

Confectionarynews.com in quoting Thomas Stilling of Eurogran, reported that “We see great possibilities for Le Royal ChocoDark to be included in vending machines – not only in offices, but also at places like fitness centres and life-style-stores.”

According to Global Industry Analysts in a recently published report, by 2010, the market for carotenoids will reach €0.78 billion.
