Updated Feb 6, 2007

According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, (BAAPS) there was a 44% increase in the number of facelifts between 2005 and 2006. One area where a major increase in demand for facelifts is evident is in Buckinghamshire county, commonly call Bucks, in South East, England. One plastic surgeon in the area reports that in the first month of the year he performed fifteen facelifts.

The starting price for anti-aging cosmetic procedures is £6 000 (approximately $11,805). This trend is just part of a larger increase in demand for plastic surgery to hold back time in the United Kingdom.
