Falling Profits Can’t Stop L’Oreal

Updated Sep 3, 2008

L’Oreal may not have made the mark where profit is concerned in their recent report, but consumers still have something to look forward to. The Company’s newest perfume, B de Boucheron, is as a testament to high quality fragrances. Created through the L’Oreal owned YSL, B de Boucheron, is the most expensive perfume from jewelry brand, Boucheron. The female fragrance is available in three sizes and a special on-demand 2liter EdP. The 2liter is being sold at an amazing $4,400 (€3,000).

Online reports indicate that the perfume is bottled in an elaborate bottle topped with an emerald-colored zamac cap. The scent was launched first in France and will be rolled out to the rest of Europe in September and the Middle East some time in November.

L’Oreal attributes the slump in sales to more price conscious consumers in the USA and Europe and general world economic decline.
