Foot Care Industry Paying Attention to Ethical Issues

The foot care industry is catching up with the rest of the beauty care industry in many ways. First they are getting in on the act in terms of the ‘no animal testing’ focus; the industry is moving away from testing their products on animals. In addition they are becoming increasingly more environmentally-friendly.  

 

The addition of natural ingredients is also being reported with botanicals accounting for 45% of products. Some of these ingredients include Shea butter, peppermint, lavender and green tea. Vitamins and mineral additives are the second most popular trends in the foot care industry now. The popularity of vitamin E and C in foot care is being driven by their antioxidant properties. These vitamins are said to help prevent and repair foot damage.
