Women who try to appear younger with the use of cosmetics may now also smell younger as well. Ageless Fantasy, a new fragrance by perfume designer, Harvey Prince has been declared to be able to do just that. Online reports claim that the results are backed by scientific studies. The research was done over a ten year period, and offers the view that there are certain smells connected to younger people. The fragrance it is said can counteract the smells usually likened to older people. It was found that women aged over 40 have high levels of 2-Nonenal, Omega 7 and other chemicals that result in a ‘grassy, greasy scent’ frequently linked with older people.
A team of scientists at Rutgers University was enlisted to help with the difficult task of creating the scent. Research done by the Smell and Taste Research Foundation in 2005 was also utilized in the creation of Ageless Fantasy.
