Soon, female game players, at least those using Nintendo’s handheld DS player will have a beauty guide included. The novel concept was developed by Konami Digital Entertainment Corporation, a Japanese based software company, known for its sports games. According to published reports, the guide would offer “daily customized skincare instructions” leading up to a special event such as a wedding. Tips will be arrived at based on the user’s hormone levels and body temperature immediately upon waking up in the morning. Konami’s corporate officer, Naoyuki Notsu was quoted as saying that “the software was developed with the concept of getting pretty while having fun’.
The software is called Chizu Saeki Style Yumemihada, translated as Dream Skincare. The skincare techniques are those of Japanese beauty advisor Chizu Saeki.
The software will be on sale in
Japan as of October 18, 2007; at this time there are no plans to introduce the system outside of
Japan.
